This is a lino cut that I made of a view of Nottingham Castle where the trees overhang the gift shop. I feel that lino printing is an excellent medium for my current work that looks at the negative spaces of trees, because I can really focus on those spaces as I physically cut them away.
I was pleased with the resultant print and would like to create another similar piece. I could also experiment with different colours, though I enjoy the boldness of the black ink.
